1. Blending modification
It can provide the best base materials, additives and fillers, and reinforce the mixing performance of materials. Glass fiber is the main reinforcement material, and other fibers can also be combined with high polymer carrier. By adding fibers and polymers, you can get high-strength and anti-impact materials, while reducing weight and cost, so as to realize blending modification.
Due to the shearing process of the meshing material of the two screws at the meshing position, the material surface is constantly updated, and the exhaust effect is improved, so that the exhaust performance of the laboratory twin screw extruder in the same direction is better than that of the single screw extruder. In the exhaust section, the large lead screw is used to feed element, and the ring dam or counter thread element is usually used to put the pressure between the first metering section. Through the ring dam, the melt gets into the exhaust section, releasing the pressure and volatilizing. As the grooves of the twin-screw extruder are longitudinally opened, the empty area of the second metering section will participate in stripping materials. The twin-screw co-rotating extruder with multiple outlets is designed for EVA resin dehydration, PMMA bulk continuous polymerization and monomer separation, PC desolvent and other processes. This kind of machine, if connected with the prepolymerizer, can be used for adding polymer, polycondensation reaction, to solve the problems of mixing and heat transfer of high viscosity melt in the polymerization process.
