Nanjing KEYA completed the preliminary investigation and project approval of the "localization of complete sets of equipment for large twin screw extruder" project. Liu Guangzhi, chairman of KEYA equipment group, signed the project approval letter. Guan Xiaochun, chairman of new technology application company of KEYA equipment group, led the technical team and solemnly signed the name of each member of the team on the project approval letter. They carry with them the expectations of KEYA people and complete the historical mission of localization of large-scale equipment.

1. KEYA is a pioneer enterprise of complete sets of equipment for large twin-screw extruders

As we all know, Nanjing KEYA is a pioneer enterprise of plastic blending and modification equipment in China and even in the world. Since the 1980s, it has made outstanding contributions to the technological innovation and product localization process of China's polymer material equipment industry. In the early 1990s, it successively delivered a number of domestic medium and large-scale devices with ten thousand tons and independent intellectual property rights, such as Daqing Huake, Tianjin Danhai, Xinjiang Tower petrochemical, etc.

2. The major mission of complete equipment of large twin screw extruder

Over the past decade, KEYA has made fruitful achievements in the large and medium-sized models. It has successively delivered more than 50 sets of models with screw diameters of 120, 125, 135 and 140, forming a complete processing, quality inspection, assembly and user on-site commissioning system, which can efficiently provide all kinds of petrochemical enterprises with materials storage, transportation, drying, accurate measurement, mixing, extrusion granulation and final product packaging, and realize the complete solution of plant level intelligent control system.

In recent years, on the basis of completing the domestic ultra-high torque models SK40 Plus and SK70 Plus with torque grade of 15 ~ 18 (this model has been successfully applied to the customer's on-site working conditions, and the overall performance is stable. It is the only domestic ultra-high torque twin screw extruder complete set device that can realize stable operation and production in China).

At the end of 2020, Liu Guangzhi, chairman of the group, put forward the great historical mission of delivering complete sets of domestic large-scale twin-screw extruders with screw diameter of 177 ~ 250mm in batch to KEYA people.

After nearly half a year of investigation and preparation, the group plans to invest more than 20 million yuan. In addition to purchasing the processing equipment of key core parts of the completed model, it will also reconstruct and expand more than 10 infrastructure construction suitable for large model production, processing and assembly workshops.

The project is planned to be completed and put into mass production in 2022. At that time, 20~30 sets of stable, reliable and cost-effective large-scale complete sets of units can be delivered to users in China and around the world every year, which can be applied to polyolefin granulation, raw material refining, reactive extrusion, high molecular weight devolatilization and other application scenarios.
